Re: iOS Bluetooth: low/high volume bug

I tried connecting to the keyboard again and didn't experience the volume bug.

hmm

i'll try poking around some more and see if i can find something reproducible.

one thing i tried out was changing instruments in free-play which might have affected something ..

iOS Bluetooth: low/high volume bug

hi i just purchased synthesia for iPad and have successfully connected over Bluetooth to my Roland FP30 . im however experiencing problems with the audio volume for some notes being played. eg: when playing one of the included songs: a mighty fortress of our god. the left hand is 300% louder than th...

Re: 10.5 preview r4792 - New Synth!

(How does the synth compare with the Windows synth? Are you guys reporting that it's really much slower? Ideally it should be much faster, but even just getting an idea of whether it's on-par with the Microsoft synth would be helpful.) I would say that Windows Synth is much faster - almost playable...

Well, it was the only one with a "buffer" mentioned ... i figured that the 320ms corresponded to what i'm experiencing of delay.

Better midi sounds

Hi... I have a Roland FP30 connected to my computer using USB. I have found out that i can select all 128 instruments using the instrument picker - these instruments will play on the Piano !!. so this made me thinking that i might be able to upgrade the soundfonts (or whatever it is) to get better i...

Re: 10.5 preview r4792 - New Synth!

Hi.. I'm trying out the new features of using SF2's but have quite an issue with them. I'm experiencing quite a significant lag: eg i press the key on the Midi keyboard and after about 200-500ms i hear the sound from the PC speakers. Is this a: - Windows 10 issue ?` - Midi controller issue ? - Sound...

Re: Built in VST

What about a built in VST loader/creator inside the game? You load a VST, and it applies to the game like a SoundFont does. And you can edit them and create your own. Its to enhance sound. Adding options for reverb and chorus would also help. Please stop editing old suggestions and create a new... ...

Re: idea: perspective rendering of blocks

88 keys might be a problem - but if you zoom to "only notes in the melody" then it might be OK ?

Try it out and see how it goes :)

Re: idea: perspective rendering of blocks

well, i wouldn't rotate it that extreme.

only by the X-axis ... to make a vanishing point (above the screen upper bounds)

idea: perspective rendering of blocks

I don't know if this is already supported or possible with the current code... But perspective rendering of the "falling blocks" would improve the ability to view the coming notes further away... (yes, i know its possible to make the blocks smaller to view more of them... ) I guess the keyboard shou...

Re: Gameplay filters and shaders

TBH.

I could imagine that Synthesia would be improved if the blocks had a 3D perspective rendering , mainly because you would then see more notes in advance.

Re: Gameplay filters and shaders

Heres an idea to spruce up Synthesia: This would help make Synthesia feel more like a game than a simulator.              It's not a simulator, is a tool to learn playing piano !!! I'm guessing you are looking for something that...

I just read all the "how to" guides and a lot of gems came up .. also some concerns. It seems that some features require the ...

Re: Learn to read sheet music

hmm... maybe all i need is bigger staffs...

its hard reading them when the eyes are not trained - and making them bigger would help - i think..

im currently using 1.5x DPI .. but it seems that the size of staffs are fixed ??

Re: Learn to read sheet music

1. ahh thanks ! ... i still wish the score was bigger. 2. Roland has made an extremely simple score reader game which simply show you 1 note that you need to guess and only 10 notes at a time. It's missing tons of options and the worst part is that the notes don't follow a melody, which means that y...

Learn to read sheet music

Hi 1. I'd like to learn how to read sheet music and was hoping that Synthesia would help in that matter - but it seems that it's too easy to resolve to looking at the bars ! I would love the ability to remove the "falling bars" completely to force me to look at the sheet music instead. I know could ...

Rewind or Practice section

FlowKey has this ability to practice a specifik part of a song ...

is this already possible ? (i can't find it) ... or could it be made in Synthesia ?

I know it's possible to rewind manually - but it would be nice to have this done automatically in some way.
