Re: Is Synthesia avaliable on Android TV?

If you need more info - please feel free. I am quite happy with ROI so to say :D The only inconvenience I had was that the monitor I used did not have a HDMI input (only DVI - no audio via HDMI thus). I had to use the box's AV composite output (to gilded connector in the attached picture) to extract...

Re: Synthesia on Android emteria.OS/Raspberry Pi

I ended up using an Android TV box, shown in the attached picture - not expensive, no limitations on the Play Store, works fine with Synthesia, comes very complete - all you need to add are all the cables and a wireless keyboard with a touchpad or trackball. A powerful box on its own, besides Synthe...

Is Synthesia avaliable on Android TV?

I do not have any Android TV box to check that - curious if Synthesia is available on Android TV?
As far as I can see not every Android app is per se available on Android TV: https://developer.android.com/distribut ... tribute-tv

Re: Synthesia on Android emteria.OS/Raspberry Pi

No luck with lineageOS. It is the same result :-/ hmm. wonder if it is my piano ? though it works on a windows computer and my samsung galaxy. are there any specific changes from Model 3 B and Model 3 B+ ? Just thinking out loud: - RPi 3b/3B+ - I do not know, I'm running it on RPi 3B - what Android...

Re: Synthesia on Android emteria.OS/Raspberry Pi

I am curious to hear how lineageos performs. Because at the end I should admit that I am not quite satisfied with emteria.OS performance on Raspberry Pi 3 B. Sometimes it becomes less responsive, sometimes crashes. That might be Google Play presence on the box indeed, together with limited memory si...

Settings look the same as mine. Did you tried Android midi driver instead of the built in one?

Re: Please release a version for linux

Back to Synthesia on Raspberry Pi / emteria.OS (Android 7): - emteria.OS Android works fine on RPi3B, some little issues with configuring HDMI, took some time - I used the link you gave to download Synthesia 10.5 APK - directly on RPi in a bundled browser - Installation went fine, Synthesia works al...

Re: Please release a version for linux

Somebody showed me today this Android https://emteria.com/ running on Raspberry Pi 3B.They were quite positive about it. I would like to try to run Android version of Synthesia on such setup. There is only one thing - the emteria build comes without Google Play Store - I'll need Synthesia's apk, not...

Re: Please release a version for linux

Actually, there is probably a better path for Synthesia on RPi - there should be Android builds for it. I experimented with Android Things on RPi. It was a year ago, and it was a preview of the Android Things, but worked smoothly. I think I'll probably look at what Android builds are abailable for R...

Re: Please release a version for linux

As long as you have Windows build - I am curious if it is possible to build it for ARM version of MS Windows? If I am not mistaken there were ARM-Win notebooks on offer a few years ago. Then I would give a try to brinning up the ARM build on Raspberry Pi with Wine. Or, is your Win version too x86-sp...

Re: Please release a version for linux

Presumably Apple sells more iPhones in an hour than RPi's are manufactured in a year, so there are juicier hardware targets out there. I am running Synthesia on an Android phone. Not sure yet if I am satisfied wth format of phone. Probably would want a bigger screen, may be 14" (not necessarily a t...

Re: Please release a version for linux

My goofy internal API gets a little more refined each time. These days it's not so hard to add a new one.
Sounds real agile :)
