I guess you'll be quite occupied these days... we'll just wait patiently :)

Re: Embarrassment Driven Design

Hi Nicholas, Have you thought about switching to some kind of standard (even multi-platform) framework? It could make you forget about all these UI issues and focus on the app itself (you'll lose "power" over it but in the long term could be a good option). Keep up the good work and thanks for carin...

Re: 10.5.1.4893

Hi Nicholas, Thanks for your work!! I'm wondering if Synthesia 11 will be focused on learning how to read sheet music and play piano from scratch just out-of-the-box (well, not only for beginners... intermediate and advanced stuff should be included too). I mean, will it have the necessary songs/exe...

Re: A Few Small Projects

From that website ($59,070 pledged of $5,000 goal!!): What about Synthesia? Is there a difference? A big one, yep. Synthesia is a software product while Pianu is a website. Pianu requires no download or installation, and works on any computer connected to the internet. Synthesia, on the other hand, ...

Re: Synthesia 10

I suppose... and certainly Synthesia 10 just claimed the record for longest development cycle ever (earlier this month) so there are more previews than usual, but... All that information is right on the same screen as the pink box: So while it's not inside the pink box, that date (and more) is alre...

Re: Synthesia 10

Hi,

Maybe the latest dev version string AND date should appear on the pink box? Could be helpful ;)

Song auto-loop until correctly performed

Hi! When a try the practice mode, the game stops until I press the correct keys. That's fine, but in the end, most of the time I'm just pressing without learning how to play (I don't know if you understand what I mean). I suggest some kind of auto-loop mode, where the game create and repeat the sect...

Re: Working with Development Previews

Maybe you could make the stable installers to ask the user if they want to update data with the 'dev' contents (if newer) automatically, or something like that ;)

Re: Working with Development Previews

Hi!

When upgrading to a stable version... do we have to overwrite the 'real' data with the (up-to-date) 'dev' folder too?

Scrolling when selecting song

Hi. I find very annoying to select a song, listen to the preview and lose its focus when use the wheelmouse to scroll and check out what other songs are available.
Shouldn't the focus (blue bar) be static in that case?

Thanks for your nice work

Alternate keyboard display

Hi. Sometimes I find difficult to find the appropiate key to play (notes come down from above and I have to look down to find the correct one before it's too late). I've thought of an alternative keyboard display (selectable option, just in case) that show the falling notes directly on the keyboard....
