Re: Hanon and Czerny for Synthesia Users

Hmm, I'm a little unclear on the copyright issues involved with these files. I understand the music itself is old enough, but Choul was just describing to me the other day that the transcription/publication date of the music by a publishing company also mattered. That MIDI files made from sheet mus...

Re: 0.7.3 Preview r899

Yeah, I put in a little registry hook to disable the version check (I'll look up what I called it when I get home), and I just added a note to my list a few minutes ago to allow a global disable for all online functionality that I'll probably put on the options screen. Is it possible to allow a glo...

Otherwise it's something in the line as 'click on yes if you're older than 18' and I'm not but I want to get in, so I click on it. Nobody knows. :o This is an unsolvable problem. Governments have realized that. The checkbox (or in really extreme cases "typing your name here constitutes your legal d...

Re: Chrono Trigger - Wind Scene

Well, the first was reactionary. The second I want to do right. Once I start officially hosting MIDI files there at least need to be stronger controls on the content. Submitters will have to check a box that says something along the lines of "this is either public domain or an original work that I'...

Re: Record my playing to my computer?

You can grab this file:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=636

and go to the software section. There's enough (free) software to find but I don't know which one fits your needs and hardware/software possibilities.

They have it at Peter Verspuy in Rotterdam, maybe you can test it there if you're interested.

Wow, 200 EURO's is still a lot of money to spend. I saw it's a midi controller, I don't know much about it, but maybe Nicholas knows something. 88 keys is already great to start with.

Re: Quiz Mode / Game Mode

Yeah, when the time comes that's exactly the type of "template" exercise I meant. They can be reasonably intricate like that one without much trouble. I just like the idea of something like that using the falling note display. There will be discussion about it too. I'll solicit feedback and gather ...

Re: Quiz Mode / Game Mode

I was indeed thinking of what you're saying Nicholas and I'm glad we did understood each other, but there is a second feature I'm thinking about, but I'm not sure if it's possible: I'm thinking of the following: For chords with their inversions you can use a certain symbol, lets say you use C/E. Tha...

In the TRAINING MODE you could then design any type of "realtime exercise" you want by choosing which files to ...

But will it be something like answering questions as in a quiz or realtime exercises too with the falling blocks?
