Re: Any lighted Keyboard other than CASIO LK/EZ series?

just my two cents:
my old Casio LK-50 keyboard can light up more than four keys (I think it was 6 or 7 keys at once).

Re: BASSMIDI Driver

Hey guys, I found this software: http://coolsoft.altervista.org/en/virtualmidisynth This software claims that it is based on the BASS library. I haven't used this BASSMIDI driver everyone is talking about but I tried VirtualMIDISynth and it's working fine for me (Windows 7). Sidenote: down in the co...

Re: Any Good Free Software to Convert WAV to Midi ?

You may want to read this: http://randomfudges.blogspot.com/2012/02/short-experiment-on-converting-wav-and.html Yes, Amazing MIDI can convert WAV to MIDI. However, converting polyphonic WAV to MIDI is a herculean task and most of the time, you'll get unsatisfactory results. However, converting monop...

Re: What midi sequencer do you use?

Any sequencers will work well with synthesia. It depends on which sequencer do you prefer working with.

I personally use Anvil Studio ('cause I can't afford those premium sequencers). But getting pitch bend to work is a pain because I do not have a USB keyboard.

Re: What kinds of MIDI files do you want?

sarah, I think those midis won't be posted here due to copyright concerns. Though, you can look for it all over the net or request someone to sequence it for you.. (maybe I'll do someday, when I have the time)

Re: What kinds of MIDI files do you want?

ok... I have some copyright-related questions:

What if I created a MIDI file of a recent song? Would that be copyright infringement?
Then what if it is a new rendition/remix (maybe a piano version)? Is it still under copyright?

just askin. :?

Kiss the Rain - Techno Remixed

I actually sequenced this out of boredom :| . This MIDI sounds better on Yamaha SoftSynth and Roland VSC
because Microsoft GS doesn't support Portamento, Reverb and Chorus.

Re: Multiplayer Mode - Online Ensembling

This would be a great feature I would like to see on the future versions of Synthesia..
but people using the software keyboard might not be able to play correctly especially strings and guitar tracks that has notes spanning beyond the keyboard
