Re: 0.8.2 Preview r1504 (Release Candidate 1)

How do you add the song title and arranger to a midi

I've tried the obvious in musescore
right click > add in the title box
and edit > metadata

but synthesia just shows the filename

Great progress Nicholas I love the random circles with the library preview In the attached zip i have two versions an octave apart, in one it's spread across two staves and displays as expected the other i mumble along to is all displayed on the bass staff, fair enough, but the note following displa...

Re: Tutorial: Near zero latency MIDI output on Windows

I'll try this, BASS midi wasn't good enough for me,
I output the sound through the keyboard for zero latency, but having more samples would be good

What you have is good and you could work around limitations by managing folders in a file manager but
Lemo wrote:-drop down menu may include sub-folders (I only have one watched folder, with a lot of subs...)
This, plus optionally the ability to disable selected sub folders would be nice

Re: How is your playing area setup

Thanks Stephen

I not sure I want to give up my desk but I like the platform, great commitment, and nice site.

I've stacked some books on chairs at either end in front of the desk, it's working for now.
two brackets that slide or swing out from under the desk would be good

How is your playing area setup

I've just received my new 88 key casio px-130, I kind of knew how big it was going to be but playing on it and living with it are a bit of a challenge. How is your area setup ? My problems are the PC keyboard and mouse are hard to reach, the keyboard is 10 cm too high, or chair is too low should I h...

Re: Hardware for totally beginner

If you just want to have some fun your checklist is ok, but learning to play well is really hard and takes a long time, quick and cheap aren't options (well = anything half decent, something you'd be willing to play in front of friends, not including a pop song that is just chord chord chord) you ne...

Excellent question Phillip

It's now documented

tab seems an odd choice, isn't shift (or ctrl) the usual modifier

Re: Documentation Wiki

Sidebar looks good
main_page needs another rewrite now as it's just repeating info you have on your site, the first link

most Images replaced with windows screenshots, the ones without text are much the same

ff3.6 & ie8
on the home page, when you mouse over any link it has wiki/index.php?title=

I'm actually a little relieved my eyes aren't as bad as i thought

in the side bar, maybe we could also have forums, your web site, and maybe related manual although that's a bit rough yet

Re: Documentation Wiki

@Nicholas Thanks for fixing the side menu, Short URLs work if you hack the url, it's just that the links revert back to long, it'd be nice but I'd rather you work on the programs if it came down to it @DC64 You can create a PDF at anytime, open the manual, select printable version from the sidebar, ...
