Midi Maker/Editor which add grace notes

Does anybody know how to add a grace not in anvil, or an other program (doesn't have to be freeware)?

Re: Track name

Maybe optionally showing track names, or something like that ?
In many songs it is used in a proper way.

Like: Vocal (John Lennon), Bass (Paul Mccartney), Rythm Guitar etc.

Re: Track name

Well, it's very easy to do with Anvil. But it wouldn't be bad. But I've made a standard blues midi for my young brother. With five different bass patterns. Three different melodies. A couple or easy, and some are hard. But you have to choose one of them, it would be easy of you could see the name of...

Why isn't the track name included in the choose track to play page ?

Re: 2010 Roadmap

My main assertion is still that unless you're manually entering from some other piece of reference material (e.g., a book or something), the person that wants the fingerings the most is in the weakest position to provide them by themselves. So to me, manual entry is of fairly limited value. What ab...

Re: Configuring with low latency and great sound

I don't know if understand this well.

Is this for if you want to use your computer as output instead of your keyboard/
And this will solve the latency if you use your computer as output ?

New subforum: How do you use synthesia?

I think it would be usefull if there was another subforum where we can post how we use synthesia, what our experiences are. So as user you can get a picture of how other users play synthesia. And so that Nicolas can see what's going on. How we use it, which features are helpfull, which things are fr...

Re: 0.7.4 Preview r1002

So, if I buy the Yamaha (EZ-200), the synthesia experience would be quite okay? No real disappointments ?
I'm thinking to buy it for my young brother who is a real beginner.

Re: 0.7.4 Preview r998

Does this mean we do not need any bookmarks at all, instead simply using measures as kind of virtual bookmarks at each measure beginning? Well I see it like this: 1.You drag the loop you want. It could be any loop you want, just drag it. 2. After you drag the loop, there is a pop-up, with: Do you w...

Re: 0.7.4 Preview r998

Those fingerings are indeed essential. I don´t need them, but if I play with beginners, they always struggle with this.

Re: 0.7.4 Preview r998

Loops look very good! Very professional The measure pop up in the timeline is perfect ! Otherwise in longer song (a couple of minutes) you couldn't see which loops to drag. So much improvements! Really great for me! Also the rythm score ! :D One thought: Number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 are now for the bo...

Re: future of reading: is reading music really worth our tim

I'm not sure I understand how sheet music provides a better picture of the rhythm or melody. I think with melody the falling notes display is better than sheet music. But in most cases they will work equally good if you are used to it. With rythm, I believe the falling notes display only tells you ...

Re: future of reading: is reading music really worth our tim

I'll say that traditional notation feels super archaic to me. Well let's compare falling notes display to sheet music: Falling notes display: - You get a good picture of the melody - You don't get a good picture of the rythm of the song - You don't get a quick picture of the whole song - It's easy ...

Re: Mp3 to Midi ware?

I'm using Melodyne Editor now.
It works perfect if you have some time.
About 15 minutes for one minute music.
If you don't have time, it doesn't work.

Re: Mp3 to Midi ware?

I heard that logic studio can make very good midi's from audio files.
Does anybody have here logic studio, because I got a audio CD from a blues lesson book (70 tracks or something) I really would like to use it in synthesia!
