Yeah, I'm not really sure how the copyright on something like that works. I feel like sharing the .synthesia files ought to be safe enough. The song data isn't stored in there, so there isn't anything to violate.
Presumably whoever creating the finger hint data has a copyright on that, but I was assuming you were the creator and you were comfortable with sharing that work.
