My keyboard is admittedly, used and old. It has one key that doesn't work. Seems a waste to buy a whole new keyboard for one broken C#.
Is there a way to omit that key from the game? I tried test mode but it marked it as working. When I play the actual game it will not let me advance in the songs I'm working on. Id rather not avoid songs that have C# in them... it kind of limits possibilities

Hmm... one workaround might be to use the new hand assignment tool in Synthesia 10. You could set all the C# notes in a song to "Discarded" or "Background". Then Synthesia wouldn't wait for you to play them anymore.
Try this:
Try this:
- Load a song containing a C#.
- Click the "Hands, Colors, and Instruments" button.
- Find the part with the C# and change that track's hand to "Custom".
- On that screen, choose the little gear icon from the left palette.
- Find the C# notes (by left-dragging to scan through song or using the timeline) and left-click them.
