Hi,

I have a ledstrip on my piano controlled by a raspberry pi. On the RPi, I can set different colors.
When I practice a song on synthesia or just watch and listen, the colors that light up are often the wrong color. Sometimes the color will be green for right or blue for left, but often the color is that of the settings from the RPi.

I have tried multiple midi channels. The RPi color was set to red.
- On channel 1-11 the color was only red
- On channel 12 the color was only blue
- On channel 13 the color was only green
- On channel 14-16 the color was only red again
- On omnichannel the colors are red or green for right hand and red of blue for left hand.

Key lights are set to finger based channel.

Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

Do you mean the colors on the screen? Or the colors on the RPi light strip? For colors on the light strip, you'll probably have to talk to the developers of the device.

Today Synthesia doesn't have any per-finger color scheme, so it will probably be a little tricky getting them to match up.

The colors on the ledstrip have this problem.
I already discussed this with the author. Seems nobody has a solution.
Discussed it here if you want to take a look:
