Hi everyone, i'm new here.
I bought a cable which it's a cable we don't have to buy (exactly the same as the synthesia told us that do not buy it: http://www.synthesiagame.com/keyboards/ ... sktop/midi ).
When i play it with synthesia, i have high-pitched sound keys pressed ramdomly, while i press anything, so if i understand correctly, it comes the bad cable ? Not from my piano ?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad english.
ps: i'm using windows 7
Bad MIDI/USB cable or bad piano ?
No explicit, hateful, or hurtful language. Nothing illegal.
Yeah, there is a good chance the problems are coming from the bad cable not correctly interpreting the messages from your keyboard.Darkstar2r1 wrote:... so if i understand correctly, it comes the bad cable ? Not from my piano ?
The "E-MU Xmidi 1x1 Interface" link on the page you mentioned is my favorite adapter. It seems to work with everything out there.Darkstar2r1 wrote:Can you recommend me a good Midi/Usb cable which is compatible with synthesia please ?

Another good brand is MIDISPORT:

I've used this adapter for several years, in Synthesia, in Rock Band 3 and other programs without issue.
