Hello. I'm a brand new user and I just got a Yamaha ez-220. It has an annoying high pitch noise that is for the iPad connectivity. According to the manual it is 18kHz which is known to cause headaches and dizziness. I'm worried about my animals, too.
Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

Hmm, as far as I know, that audio-based connection is only used with Yamaha's own apps (like their page-turning app).
Synthesia uses either a direct wired connection (via Apple's Lightning to Camera connection kit adapter) or by using a MIDI-to-Bluetooth adapter (which doesn't emit any sound). If there is some option you're using to make it buzz, you should be able to turn that off and Synthesia will still work.
