For those of us who aren't as adept at piano, it's hard to track the notes on where they are going to hit. Guitar hero solved this by color coding notes, but i think adding an alternating light grey and dark grey will help my eye track better where the notes are going to go. Right now its all just one flat grey color and i find myself off one or two notes off quite often because i can't track easily.
If you need more clarification i can make an example.
This program is totally awesome by th way. Thanks for all the work so far.

Welcome to the board, Galaga. Thanks for your feedback.
Yeah, a little more clarification might help. Do you mean the keyboard keys should alternate gray tones? Or that the falling notes should? How did you want to treat the black keys? Do you have any suggestions about how the guide lines might be able to work with the alternating colors? (I just heard a suggestion via email that there only be a single guideline separating each octave between B and C. He showed an example image and it looked pretty good. I was thinking of giving a few different display options that would allow users to customize the falling note display to their tastes.)
