How can I get better sound fonts in synthesia, I'm using Mac OS Sierra and downgraded to Synthesia 8 from 10.3

You can use the "IAC Driver" built into macOS to send Synthesia's output to any other app of your choice that supports SoundFonts, VST instruments, or whatever else. (I'm not completely sure about this one, but: I remember hearing you can change which DLS file the built-in QuickTime synth uses. The DLS format is a lot like the SoundFont format. There are a few nice DLS sound sets out there.)
