Built in VST

What about a built in VST loader/creator inside the game? You load a VST, and it applies to the game like a SoundFont does. And you can edit them and create your own.
Its to enhance sound. Adding options for reverb and chorus would also help.

This would help make Synthesia feel more like a game than a simulator.

It's not a simulator, is a tool to learn playing piano !!!

I'm guessing you are looking for something that resembles Guitar Hero ???

TBH.

I could imagine that Synthesia would be improved if the blocks had a 3D perspective rendering , mainly because you would then see more notes in advance.

Another good reason not to completely rewrite old posts is because it makes the "new" post invisible to people that follow the forum via RSS feed (like me)!

Until Montago mentioned it, I didn't know you'd asked anything about VSTs at all.
