I think Synthesia should have a battery saver feature which makes it so the game uses less cpu and less battery power. This should also be for those whose devices run on batteries, it has no effect on desktop computers

With any luck a separate setting shouldn't be required soon. The app uses far more power than it needs to in an ideal world. It's a matter of shimmying things around behind the scenes to make the drawing code (a lot) more efficient. The other graphics programmer I contracted a few months ago is working on that now.
