When you pause the song in practice modes, it should have an arrow pointing to the next key to press as a reminder of what key to press in case you forget.

They're not arrows, but the little dots that appear on the keys already do exactly this.

Didn't think it through. Maybe perhaps when you pause the song, the game screen darkens, and keys you are supposed to hit next light up, like in the tutorial. Its a hint, and displays only when the song is paused so you remember if you have been away for a long time, or pressed the wrong key in melody practice.
