I would like to suggest adding a random note generator function. I think having a constant flow of random keys and trying to match them on the keyboard might be a good way to become familiarized with placement. It would be nice if there were a corresponding "sheet music" displayed, that way you can become fast at finding positions on the keyboard when you see the notes on the clef. Ideally, you could select the not range and expand it as you get familiar. For example, middle C to G. and after expanding to a full octave, and then to the bass clef.

There is a free app for phones called "music tutor" that does something similar. It would be nice to be able to do it on the keyboard.

Thank you

I'm hoping to pursue an idea like this one at some point. Now it's just a matter of finding the time for it!

Thanks Nicholas!
If you have time, take a look at the music tutor app. I like the algorithm they use. For example, is you miss a G, it will give you a G in different octaves to help anchor them.

I also like the fact that you can choose an interval to practice.

I recommend Synthesia to all my friends.
Thanks again for all the work you put into this.
