Some expensive electronic piano have a display above the keyboard showing notes falling like in synthesia. That would be nice for all piano, especially acoustic ones, to have a display has large has the keyboard for displaying notes falling.

I imagine using a Rasberry pi or equivalent with four video outputs, one for a standard screen for synthesia GUI and score display, and three for notes falling displays, e.g. :
These solutions looks very expensive, probably there are LCD matrixes far cheaper.

If you've got a monitor (or projector) large enough and a video card that can handle however many pixels you're throwing at it, you can already do this today with the "Custom" option under the zoom menu. That option disables the "snapping" of the view to whole white keys so that you can position it precisely to your physical keys.

Then you can use the little blue block---the one that slides out at the right-hand side of the screen when the song is paused---to hide the on-screen keyboard completely. Then it looks like the falling notes arrive directly at your own, physical keys. The effect is rather nice, actually!
