AZERTY keyboard on windows 11 [solved]

Trouble with Synthesia, your keyboard, or adapter? Think you found a bug?
When describing problems, always mention your OS and game version (shown at the bottom of the title screen).

If your keyboard has USB or MIDI ports, there is a tremendously high chance (>99%) it will work with Synthesia. See what you'll need on the keyboards page.

This 14 year old post is still the correct way to adjust for different/arbitrary keyboard layouts. The last entry in the first post there should be the one you need.

thanks for your help, it's better but there's still a bug with the changing octave Key...

i want to assign to w et x but there is still a conflict with the z of the piano 🎹 keyboard.

i mean z is playing the note i want and put down an octave in the same time.

I'm happy to hear you were able to get the alternate mapping up and running. Sorry for that extra bit of confusion. I just added a note to the instructions page to help others in the future.
