Keyboard loses touch-sensitivity with Synthesia

Trouble with Synthesia, your keyboard, or adapter? Think you found a bug?
When describing problems, always mention your OS and game version (shown at the bottom of the title screen).

If your keyboard has USB or MIDI ports, there is a tremendously high chance (>99%) it will work with Synthesia. See what you'll need on the keyboards page.

My digital piano is a CASIO CDP130 and I am using the latest Synthesia app on my phone running Android 10. My problem is that certain piano keys lose touch sensitivity (they play on the maximum volume with the softest touch). First I tought my digital piano is dying, BUT THEN I NOTICED: when playing Synthesia those problematic keys ALWAYS play without touch-sensitivity. The MOMENT I exit Synthesia they have touch-sensitivity again.

Try changing Settings --> Gameplay --> Note Loudness --> Match My Input.

Does that make your notes use your own velocity again?

(You may also be hearing doubled-up notes if you have its output options set to include "My Notes" but you don't have the 'Prevent "local" notes' option enabled. That could also make it sound more uniform and less like there is a difference between different velocities.)
