ipad finger hint input

Trouble with Synthesia, your keyboard, or adapter? Think you found a bug?
When describing problems, always mention your OS and game version (shown at the bottom of the title screen).
  • If your keyboard has USB or MIDI ports, there is a tremendously high chance (>99%) it will work with Synthesia. See what you'll need on the keyboards page.
  • If you have a Logitech webcam and can't get your keyboard/adapter to work, see this post.

i realize the ipad is not the most efficient platform to input finger hints
but when on the plane it's quite comfortable.

so when i try to set finger hints in the lower register,
e.g. the contra or sub-contra octave,
the hands interface goes partly off screen,
which leaves some fingers inaccessible.

the same issue appears on high pitch keys.

Yeah, that's definitely a bug. In the desktop version the interface snaps to the window boundaries, but that doesn't seem to be happening on the iPad for whatever reason. That'll be fixed in the next version.

Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime. Outside of panning as far as you can and zooming in as far as possible, there isn't a great workaround. (This is even less convenient, but you could enter your hints in the desktop version, import them into a metadata file, and then copy that file to your iPad.)
