Can this Yamaha acoustic Piano have midi support?

Trouble with Synthesia, your keyboard, or adapter? Think you found a bug?
When describing problems, always mention your OS and game version (shown at the bottom of the title screen).

If your keyboard has USB or MIDI ports, there is a tremendously high chance (>99%) it will work with Synthesia. See what you'll need on the keyboards page.

For a few thousand dollars you could have a PNOscan installed. It's an optical system that watches the underside of the keys and generates MIDI data.

You can use Synthesia without MIDI input in Rhythm mode. You'll have to judge for yourself how well you are following the music since Synthesia won't be able to "see" what you are playing. Or you could get an inexpensive electronic keyboard just for practicing with Synthesia and then play the acoustic piano when you have learned the song.

Yeah, you could even get an expensive digital piano (say, a Yamaha DGX-650) and it'd still be cheaper.
