Quick question I'm about to get a surface pro and before that I'll like to know if it works with my Yamaha MD-BT01 Im already using it with my ipad.

When describing problems, always mention your OS and game version (shown at the bottom of the title screen).
If your keyboard has USB or MIDI ports, there is a tremendously high chance (>99%) it will work with Synthesia. See what you'll need on the keyboards page.

The most recent development preview for Synthesia 11 just added Bluetooth MIDI support for the Windows 10 version of Synthesia. In this case, the "10" part of Windows 10 is specific. Microsoft only added Bluetooth MIDI support to Windows 10; it isn't available in previous versions of Windows.
So, as long as you use that early beta version of Synthesia 11 (again, with Windows 10), it should work. I've personally tested both the MD-BT01 and UD-BT01 with Synthesia on Windows 10 and they each worked perfectly. That beta download is available from the pink box at the top of this page.
