iOS Bluetooth: low/high volume bug

Trouble with Synthesia, your keyboard, or adapter? Think you found a bug?
When describing problems, always mention your OS and game version (shown at the bottom of the title screen).

If your keyboard has USB or MIDI ports, there is a tremendously high chance (>99%) it will work with Synthesia. See what you'll need on the keyboards page.

hi

i just purchased synthesia for iPad and have successfully connected over Bluetooth to my Roland FP30 .

im however experiencing problems with the audio volume for some notes being played.

eg: when playing one of the included songs: a mighty fortress of our god.
the left hand is 300% louder than the right hand

midi is setup to play all sounds through the Roland. and none through the iPad.

also: background playback is generally too low and it would be nice with a volume option for background..

Hmm, if you temporarily switch back over to the built-in synth, is the volume between the hands still very different? That sounds like it might be a keyboard setting.

Otherwise, there is a little bit of control for volume: if you choose your FP30 from the Music Output list, the "Volume Scale" slider there will scale the velocities of all the notes played out through that device. That could help bring the level up a little.

I tried connecting to the keyboard again and didn't experience the volume bug.

hmm

i'll try poking around some more and see if i can find something reproducible.

one thing i tried out was changing instruments in free-play which might have affected something ..
