in a random midi file I downloaded (that was supposedly transcribed for piano), I encountered the following part for the right hand:

no matter how I try to stretch my fingers I will never be able to hit the same note on 3 octaves. so, how am I supposed to play it?

(btw: I know this song is WAAAAAAAAAY too advanced for me, I tried it just for fun, but still confused)
(Another btw: yesterday I finally bought this. Still searching for good song packs sorted by level if you have any recommendations)

The only way to do this - and this kind of situation does exist in other pieces of music, most often the Romantic virtuosic music of Liszt (e.g. La Campanella) and possibly Chopin too - is to turn off the "Only continue when all correct notes are held at the same time" option in Game Options, and then hit each note one after the other as quickly as you can, using the sustain pedal to hold the notes on. This is known as 'spreading' a chord, and is actually very necessary in a lot of classical and jazz pieces which regularly have chords that stretch a tenth (which is an octave + an extra 3 scale notes) or more.
