Redsal's MIDIs, a source of MIDI files

Share your original or public domain compositions here!
Request popular music with the suggestion form on the music store, not here!

All MIDI attachments must be one of the following:
  • Your own, original work submitted under some license that permits free private use (I recommend public domain or Creative Commons).
  • Adapted from works created prior to 1923. This goes for both the composition and arrangement. This means you cannot post MIDI versions of recent songs.

I have found a website that has many good MIDI files available, http://www.redsal.com/. All the files on that site were sequenced by the site's owner, Mr. Sal Grippaldi. I have written to Mr. Grippaldi and he has given us permission to use his MIDI files:

One thing that I thought long and hard about is that there are MIDI files for newer songs and there is nothing to indicate what the license status is. The way we will proceed is that if you find a particularly good MIDI file at redsal.com and it is for a song first published before 1923, then you may post a link or, better yet, a copy of the file here. Indicate that the is a file "Sequenced by Redsal" from http://www.redsal.com.

To keep this area orderly and useful, please start a new topic for each new song and use the song title as the Subject.

I second your comment about Redsal's Midi collection. They are of very good quality and I enjoy learning to play most of them.
Question -- I downloaded a Midi file of an "Oldie" from another site, and the tune is very familiar. However, I can't seem to find the name of it.
As a download it was just titled "YDRM". From your experience Jim, can you place a song title to match? Let me know if you'd like to hear the midi file, I can send it to you.
