I do not have any Android TV box to check that - curious if Synthesia is available on Android TV?
As far as I can see not every Android app is per se available on Android TV: https://developer.android.com/distribut ... tribute-tv
Is Synthesia avaliable on Android TV?
No explicit, hateful, or hurtful language. Nothing illegal.
I suppose if you connected a mouse, it wouldn't be so bad. Otherwise there isn't any support in the app for navigating things with a remote or game controller. We'd need to update the UI pretty substantially to make it really feel like a proper experience in a set-top box environment.
I have tried the Android TV box shown in the attached picture - not expensive, no limitations on the Play Store, works fine with Synthesia, comes very complete - all you need to add are all the cables and a wireless keyboard with a touchpad or trackball.
A powerful box on its own, besides Synthesia - very handy for YouTube and casual browsing.

If you need more info - please feel free. I am quite happy with ROI so to say
The only inconvenience I had was that the monitor I used did not have a HDMI input (only DVI - no audio via HDMI thus). I had to use the box's AV composite output (to gilded connector in the attached picture) to extract audio, and it's still not quite satisfactory - a bit quiet. But this is exactly the same if you use Raspberry Pi with a monitor with no HDMI.
