Does Synthesia display sheet music and finger hints on MIDI files obtained from other sources than Synthesia?

You can enable sheet music for any MIDI file. See this guide.

You can also add finger hints to any MIDI file. This is an ancient video, but the "dragging from the note block to the finger" interface is still the same.
