Are there any good virtual synth apps for playing SF2 files in Synthesia? (macOS)

I would like to use SF2 files in conjunction with an app that is a software synth with Synthesia, but all of them are for Windows. :( There is a SimpleSynth one that works on OS X 10.6.8 and lower, but it is very unreliable. Can you please point me to any software synths for macOS Monterey that are free? I am just asking for some guidance please. :)

Aside from this, could VST's someday be compatible with Synthesia? MacOS loves to use VSTs a lot in it's GarageBand software, so maybe this could be an idea worth implementing? I know MuseScore files are. ;)

You might try FluidSynth. I believe they have a Mac version. It is very solid on Windows.

The problem with this synth, is that you must build it on macOS. And I don't really like making apps or building them.
