.synthesia files on Android

Trouble with Synthesia, your keyboard, or adapter? Think you found a bug?
When describing problems, always mention your OS and game version (shown at the bottom of the title screen).
  • If your keyboard has USB or MIDI ports, there is a tremendously high chance (>99%) it will work with Synthesia. See what you'll need on the keyboards page.
  • If you have a Logitech webcam and can't get your keyboard/adapter to work, see this post.

Hi, using Synthesia 10.6.5425 on Windows 7

I added fingerings to a midi file on the desktop version of Synteshia, trying to export the midi and .synthesia file (using the metadata tool) to android, so I can see the fingerings in the android version to no avail. Fingerings are not being displayed. Is this supported? Does Synthesia on Android read .synthesia files?

It should, so long as the .synthesia files are in the same folder as the MIDI files.

How are you copying them over to your Android device?

Figured it out. The file extension was .synthesia.xml instead of .synthesia. Renaming the file solved the issue. Not sure at which point it got the .xml extension. Thanks! :D
